Shaker

Separates gold out of wet sand as material passes over it.

Players build shakers on a diagonal and drop wet sand onto them, so gold falls through while slag continues downstream.

Kinetic Slag Press

Breaks burnt slag into gold and spores when the slag falls onto it from height.

Burnt slag is dropped from above the green marker shown when the press is placed. On impact it breaks into gold and spores.

Slag passes through the press in a very small time window. Anything that lands on top during that window does not count as hitting the press, which is what starts a jam.

Pipe

Confirmed

The conduit that carries liquid between a pump and a vent.

Pipes are only the conduit. A pump block absorbs liquid and a vent block ejects it — a pipe on its own does nothing.

Why so much is marked undocumented

Sandustry has not published per-machine throughput figures, and the demo period did not settle them either. A ratio table full of invented numbers looks authoritative and quietly ruins the builds of everyone who trusts it, so this site leaves those cells empty and says why.

Those gaps are meant to close. Once the Early Access build's content definitions can be read directly, the confirmed values will be generated from the game files rather than transcribed by hand — seehow this site is sourced.
